Fisp and Fire Show receive over 62 thousand visitors and highlight innovations in safety and protection

Event brings together 800 national and international exhibiting brands, boosts business generation, and points to growth for the next edition in 2026

São Paulo, November 2024 – The 24th edition of FISP (International Safety and Protection Fair) and the 15th Fire Show (International Fire Fair) recorded significant growth, with over 800 national and international exhibiting brands, attracting more than 62,000 industry professionals from 48 countries during the three-day event at São Paulo Expo. The positive result reinforces the relevance of the events in the areas of occupational health and safety, and fire prevention and fighting in Latin America.

One of the highlights was the business matchmaking rounds organized by Brazilian Safety in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), which brought international buyers, making it possible to hold 300 business meetings. Maurício Macedo, CEO of Fiera Milano Brasil, emphasized the importance of this initiative for the development of the sector. We have created a conducive environment for companies to close deals and expand their operations globally. The diversity of exhibitors and buyers is a reflection of the growth and relevance of these trade shows on the international stage.”

The quality of the visitors was also a highlight of this edition, with 80% of the attendees consisting of decision-makers and purchasing influencers. “This indicator reaffirms that trade shows are a strategic platform for business in the security sector. The 20% increase in exhibition space, with the addition of another pavilion, reflects the event’s growth and the market’s growing interest. It is gratifying to see that many exhibitors are already renewing their booths for the 2026 edition,” notes Regina Silva, Portfolio & International Sales Director of Fiera Milano Brasil.

Raul Casanova Jr., executive director of the National Association of the Safety and Occupational Protection Equipment Industry (ANIMASEG added: This is the largest Fisp we have ever held, both in size and attendance, featuring a qualified audience and decision-makers. "By 2025, we believe this market will grow by at least 5%; it's really booming."”

Attractions and immersive experience

In addition to business opportunities, the public can check out various interactive attractions and immersive experiences. Among the highlights is the Model Safety Factory, organized by the Brazilian Institute of Leather, Footwear and Artifact Technology (IBTeC) in partnership with Marluvas. The project simulates the ‘live’ production of safety footwear, with the participation of 50 supplier companies of inputs, machinery and components. Visitors learned about the practical application of new technologies that can be implemented in the industry, ensuring efficiency and innovation in the manufacturing of PPE,” stated Paulo Model, technical director of IBTeC.

Another highlight is the SENAI-SP Mobile School, which offers a safety technology experience focusing on high-angle rescue and confined spaces. The mobile unit features a complete structure for demonstrating equipment and practices that comply with regulatory standards NR18, NR33, and NR35.

The Technology and Innovation Space presented 27 new products aimed at the security sector, focusing on PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and technologies that increase worker efficiency and safety. Among the innovations are high-temperature resistant clothing, respirators with greater nanoparticle filtration capacity, and integrated safety management systems.

Innovations in PPE for women also stood out in this edition, with several companies launching equipment and clothing specially developed for the female demographic, including options for pregnant women and adaptations for people with disabilities. This movement reflects the growing participation of women in the labor market and the concern for the customization of protective equipment.

The schedule of technical lectures was also a highlight, featuring the Cobrasemt (Brazilian Congress of Occupational Safety and Medicine) and the ABNT CB-32 Congress. The events drew a qualified audience, bringing together specialists and professionals from the field who discussed fundamental topics for the sector, such as regulations, innovations, and best practices in occupational health and safety.

Exhibitor testimonials and future perspectives

Yasmin Botelho, responsible for Marketing at JGB, highlighted the success of the fair: The traffic at the trade shows was exceptional from the first day. The quality of the contacts and leads generated pleasantly surprised us, and we noticed a significant increase in interest in our products, especially those designed for high temperatures.”

Danilo Oliveira, Sales and Marketing Director of Marluvas, also celebrated the company's participation. Fisp is the ideal stage for presenting our innovations and strengthening our market presence. This year's energy is incredible, with well-designed booths and engaged visitors.

Fernando Estima, managing partner of Elastobor, highlights: “This was the first time we participated, I had always visited through invitations from other suppliers, but the experience was much better.”

For Marianna Nunes, Head of Marketing at CM Couto, the trade show exceeded expectations: “We have participated in the event in previous years. This year was excellent for us. We received people from various segments, sectors, and professions, which is very good because we like to showcase our innovations. Our company has a strong innovation front, and making product launches at Fire Show was very positive. Based on the latest editions, this year was even more qualified than everything we have experienced with Fire Show and FISP. The feedback we received from our employees indicates that the qualification of visitors exceeded expectations, especially those interested in closing deals and getting to know CM Couto after the trade show. This was very positive, as we have already closed some deals, something we did not expect and that exceeded our expectations. As for our next participation, I believe we will participate with even more technological and innovative novelties for the experience of those visiting our booth.”

The space renewal by many exhibitors for the next edition, which will take place from October 6 to 8, 2026, at São Paulo Expo, already demonstrates the event's success and reflects the heating up of the market. This movement is an important thermometer for the growth and strengthening of the sector in the coming years.
