Italian company, a global leader in automation products, will bring security technology to the fair that brings the customer closer to the product via an application

With over 40 years in the global market, Came has concentrated its entire Mercosul distribution operation in Brazil since 2017. The automation products leader is now investing in the country to launch a platform capable of giving users more autonomy. The launch of Came Connect will take place at Exposec – International Security Fair, which will be held from May 21 to 23 at São Paulo Expo.
To develop its products, Came invests around 10 million euros per year in research worldwide. The new investment in Brazil, Came Connect, creates customer interactivity with their product through a smartphone application. The operator of barriers, turnstiles, gates, retractable bollards, or parking space savers will be able to monitor and manipulate the products from afar.
“Our technology makes it possible, even when not on-site, to grant someone entry without the need for an intermediary. We always think about the safety of our customers. Knowing who is at the gate, or if your child is home alone, is very important for a parent, for example,” explains Marco Barbosa, director of Came do Brasil.
Other company products use Came Connect technology to expand efficiency. The products in the BXV and BKV Gate Automation Line bring greater savings and better performance, and can operate even in the event of a blackout. In addition, they feature self-diagnosis: through the app, they anticipate any malfunction and notify the owner of the potential need for maintenance or repair.
Developing security technologies and increasing customer interactivity with the product are not the company's only pillars. According to Barbosa, it is necessary to put the products that arrive here on display. “Came do Brasil always participates in Exposec and has high expectations for the event, as it is the main moment to present our new products to the market. Much more than closing deals, the Trade Fair is the main showcase for new partners to get to know the solutions that Came is bringing to the country,” he explains.
Promoted by Cipa Fiera Milano in partnership with ABESE (Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies), Exposec grows stronger with each edition. In 2018, the trade show attracted 45,000 industry professionals, compared to 42,000 the previous year. The expectation for the 22nd edition is an even larger audience, which will bring together innovations from over 800 brands across 40,000 square meters of exhibition space.
