The trade shows are going to showcase technological and sustainable innovations from more than 700 brands in the Occupational Safety and Health, Fire Prevention and Fighting sector at São Paulo Expo

São Paulo, September 2024 – The main innovations from the occupational safety, and fire prevention and protection sectors are going to have a privileged place between October 22 and 24 of this year, in São Paulo. The São Paulo Expo Exhibition and Convention Center will host Fisp – the 24th International Security and Protection Trade Show and Fire Show – 15th International Fire Fair.

The event now occupies five pavilions, one more than in the previous edition, and is going to feature the Innovation Space, an area at the entrance of the event to highlight the most innovative products and services in the sector, the events should receive more than 50,000 visitors and about 700 exhibiting brands, according to the expectation of Fiera Milano Brasil, organizer and promoter of the Trade Shows. “We had a 20% increase in the number of exhibitors compared to the 2022 edition,” says the director of the Trade Shows, Regina Silva.

Accreditation for visitors is already open, and companies interested in exhibiting can access this LINK.

The Innovation Space is curated by ANIMASEG (National Association of the Safety and Labor Protection Material Industry) and its executive director, Raul Casanova, who is also a director at ABRASEG (entity that brings together and represents the Safety and Labor Protection Importers in Brazil), and who adds some details. “The Innovation Space at the entrance of the fair is going to showcase innovations and sustainability examples for equipment and security services of what the visitor will have at the event, and if the attendee is interested in knowing more, they can go directly to the booth of that manufacturer”.

Casanova also brings details of the Brazilian Congress of Occupational Safety and Medicine, highlighted in the Fisp schedule. It is going to cover topics such as ergonomics at work, social risks, training and qualification, effectiveness of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) etc.

For this congress, Casanova continues, 15 national entities were brought together, such as occupational physicians (ANAMT), safety engineers (ANEST); ergonomists (ABERGO); occupational hygienists (ABHO); safety technicians (FENATEST); occupational nurses, safety professionals (ABRAPHITEST); teachers (ANDEST), occupational health and safety companies (ABRESST).

“It is very important that the Trade Shows have more technical content and that is why we are working towards this. This congress reflects the work of uniting the various entities in favor of occupational safety” says Casanova.

International Business Round

Also by ANIMASEG, through the Brazilian Safety project, a strategic alliance with ApexBrasil, there will be a Business Roundtable that will bring 10 international buyers to the table with the Brazilian PPE and CPE (collective protective equipment) manufacturers. This round will take place during the trade shows and will promote more than 300 meetings during the three days of the event.

According to information from ANIMASEG, so far there are confirmations from representatives from South Africa, Colombia, Honduras and Portugal, in addition to other countries that should confirm their presence in the coming days. The meetings will be held at the manufacturers’ booths and at the Brazilian Safety booth.

For more information and to participate in the Brazilian Safety International Business Round, please contact ANIMASEG by phone (11) 95039-4141 or by email:  cintia@braziliansafety.com.br.

The Brazilian Safety project was developed by ANIMASEG in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). The objective is to support companies producing PPE and CPE such as helmets, glasses, shoes, gloves, vests, etc., all with necessary approvals for commercialization in international markets.

In addition to this support, the Brazilian Safety project takes companies producing personal and collective protective equipment to international fairs in order to publicize and promote PPE and CPE produced in Brazil.

Safety Model Factory

IBTeC (Brazilian Institute of Leather, Footwear and Artifacts Technology) and the company Marluvas, Equipamentos Profissionais will set up the Safety Model Factory, in an area of 700 square meters within Fisp, which will allow visitors to have the experience of following in real time a complete shoe production line.

The project development team is preparing three different production models (in this case three distinct types of safety shoes), using unprecedented processes, always focusing on sustainability. The expectation of the technical coordinator of IBTeC, Paulo Model, responsible for the operationalization of the project, “is that 600 pairs of shoes will be produced during the three days of the fair”.

In addition to Fiera Milano Brasil, as organizer of the Fairs, the Fire Show is held by Abiex (Brazilian Association of Fire and High Pressure Cylinder Equipment Industries). Fisp has a partnership with the Brazilian Association of Distributors and Importers of Safety and Work Protection Equipment and Products (Abraseg), the National Association of the Safety and Work Protection Material Industry (Animaseg) and the Safety Material Industry Union (Sindiseg).
