Remembering the INMETRO Ordinance No. 102 of 03/20/2020, which: suspends the compulsoriness of the Certificate of Conformity for PFF2 “Masks” for 12 months. If the supplier chooses not to certify the product, they must keep a record of tests carried out in a laboratory accredited by INMETRO or by a member of the mutual recognition agreements of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).
In addition to SEPTR Ordinance No. 1,437 of May 6, 2020: establishes the procedures and technical requirements for the evaluation of PPE; and grants a 180-day period for PPE manufactured or imported as of 11/12/2019 to be commercialized and used only with the Inmetro Certificate of Conformity and Test Reports (Art. 36).
Thus, companies can also be considered legal, up to 11/06/20, with:
Certificate of Conformity and without CA: Louis M. Gerson Co.
Test reports approved by the ONLY laboratory accredited by INMETRO for PFF masks: Falcão Bauer; or ILAC laboratories.
In this case, Animaseg suggests that the consumer request the Test Report approving the PPE.
