Smaller than a futsal ball and weighing 1.5 kilograms, the ABC Fire Extinguishing Ball – or Fire Extinguishing Ball, as it is known worldwide – looks like a toy, but it is an efficient safety device that will be featured at the Fire Show – International Fire Fair, held concurrently with the 22nd International Safety and Protection Fair (Fisp), from October 3 to 5 in São Paulo. Some are already saying that this explosive sphere, which operates automatically without putting a person's life at risk, will be the successor to fire extinguishers. Heavy and difficult to handle, current equipment items are mandatory by law, which makes the fire-extinguishing ball an additional product, for voluntary use, in a company's safety program. Produced in Thailand, the product is imported by Elide Fire do Brasil and is already adopted by large companies and agricultural producers.
