On the 14th, the São Paulo Fire Department presented the 20th Senabom – National Firefighters Seminar, which will take place alongside the 23rd FISP – International Security and Protection Fair, and the 14th Fire Show – International Fire Fair, from October 20 to 22 at the São Paulo Expo. This will be the third time that the capital of São Paulo hosts the seminar, which annually brings together corporations from all over Brazil and abroad.
For Military Police Colonel Max Mena, commander of the Fire Department of the Military Police of the State of São Paulo, “it will be an honor to welcome the congressmen, exhibitors, and competitors and to provide integration, the exchange of experiences and knowledge among all the Military Fire Departments of Brazil.”.
Captain Pallumbo, head of communication for the Fire Department, recalled that this year the corporation marks its 140th anniversary. “At the same time, we have the opportunity to host one of Latin America's largest events on rescue, fire protection, and worker safety.”.
The event, organized by Cipa Fiera Milano, will feature a comprehensive program (http://www.senabom.com.br) featuring workshops, lectures, the Toughest Firefighter Competition, the national stage of Vehicle Extrication, a meeting of the Commanders from the 27 Brazilian states, a Business Roundtable, and the Commanders“ Dinner, among other activities. ”Our goal is to present new technologies in the areas of fire prevention and fighting, search and rescue, civil defense, rescue, and pre-hospital care," said Colonel Max.
This edition of Senabom will also feature scientific paper presentations, short courses, and technical competitions aimed at professionals in the sector such as military firefighters, police officers, members of the armed forces, civil and community firefighters, civil defense agents, and students, among other professionals.
