From October 5 to 7, at São Paulo Expo, Fundacentro will participate in Latin America’s largest occupational safety and health trade show: the International Safety and Protection Fair (FISP). In addition to Fundacentro’s traditional booth, a fixture at occupational safety and health trade shows, this year the organization will showcase its multimedia kiosk and panels featuring lenticular printing, or interactive printing, to the public. The information displayed on the multimedia kiosk is being updated by Fundacentro’s designer, Ronildo Barros Orfão, who has based his research on the organization’s institutional videos and brochure. FISP is organized and promoted by Cipa Fiera Milano in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Distributors and Importers of Occupational Safety and Protection Equipment and Products (ABRASEG), the National Association of the Occupational Safety and Protection Equipment Industry (ANIMASEG), and the Safety Equipment Industry Union (SINDISEG). According to information from the organizers, more than 50,000 visitors and approximately 700 exhibiting companies are expected this year. In addition to FISP, the 12th Fire Show – International Fire Fair and the 19th Brazilian Congress on Fire Engineering will take place simultaneously. On October 5, from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., the topic will be “Cell Phone Technology,” presented by Robson Spinelli Gomes, Technical Director at Fundacentro. On the same day, from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., the “SST Fácil App: OSH education through new technologies,” featuring speakers Jefferson Peixoto da Silva, head of the Educational Initiatives Service; Cleiton Faria de Lima, a Fundacentro technician; Flávio Barbosa Galvão; and Fernando Timóteo Fernandes, both technologists at the organization. From 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Jefferson Peixoto will present on the topic “Occupational Safety and Health for Young Apprentices.” On Thursday, the 6th, the lectures will focus on “The Respiratory Protection Program—4th Edition” and “History of the PPR” (from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.), both to be presented by José Damásio de Aquino, head of Fundacentro’s Work Process Safety Coordination; from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., “What’s New in the 4th Edition,“ to be presented by Fundacentro’s Safety Equipment Service technologist, Sílvia Helena de Araújo Nicolai, and Antônio Vladimir Vieira, head of Fundacentro’s Safety Equipment Service, who will speak on ”An Example of Respirator Selection,“ from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. On Friday, the 7th, Maria Cristina Gonzaga, a technologist at Fundacentro, will speak on ”Protection of workers who grow pineapples“ from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Later, from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Clóvis Eduardo Meirelles, head of the Rural Activities Support Service, will discuss ”Occupational Safety and Health in Rural Work.“ From 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the topic ”SST Fácil App“ will be presented again by the same staff members who spoke on the 5th. From 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., the topic ”Teachers“ Health: The Profile of Absences and the Challenge of Intervention” will be presented by Jefferson Peixoto, head of the Educational Actions Service, and from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., it will be the turn of Fundacentro’s Science and Technology Analyst, Cristiane Oliveira Reimberg, who will present the topic “Suffering and Pleasure at Work.” São Paulo Expo Brasil is located on Rodovia dos Imigrantes, km 1.5 – Água Funda, São Paulo – SP.
