A FISP | International Fair of Safety and Protection It happens from October 5 to 7, 2016, at São Paulo Expo, in São Paulo, and will bring together the latest news in products, services, and equipment related to this market. Around 700 exhibitors and more of 50 million visitors, among nursing professionals, doctors, psychologists, speech therapists, occupational safety engineers and technicians, risk inspectors, corporate security personnel, CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention) members, and firefighters, as well as managers, directors, buyers, and distributors from various sectors.
For over 20 years, W&N Sinalização has been developing and manufacturing products focused on occupational safety signage. Despite debuting at FISP 2016, the Minas Gerais-based company already has a long-standing partnership with the event, as it has been participating since 2003 in BRASEG | Brazilian Fair for Occupational Safety, Health and Fire Protection, an event affiliated with FISP, which takes place in Minas Gerais, the state where the company is located. The events are promoted by Cipa Fiera Milano with the realization of the Brazilian Association of Distributors and Importers of Occupational Safety and Protection Equipment and Products (ABRASEG), National Association of the Industry of Work Safety and Protection Equipment (ANIMASEGand the Security Material Industry Union (SINDISEG).
“We decided to participate in FISP this edition because we want to show the public that hazardous energy lockouts are accessible to all companies, and that in Brazil we have the ability to manufacture products with the same quality as imported ones without the high costs that importation requires. Since FISP is the largest trade fair in the segment, we believe that participating in this event can provide visibility and a major boost to our business.”, explains Wagner Silveira, Product Development Director and Managing Partner of W&N Sinalização.
The focus at FISP 2016 will be exclusively on lockout devices for hazardous energy sources. Lockout devices for hazardous energy sources are mandatory safety devices that prevent serious accidents during both electrical and mechanical maintenance. Currently in Brazil, more than 90% of the devices sold are imported. The company’s goal is to showcase these devices and demonstrate to users and workers that companies can invest in these products without incurring high costs, thereby ensuring the safety of their employees.
“A trade show like FISP, a benchmark in the occupational safety sector, brings together the best suppliers and professionals in the market in just three days of events. The exchange of knowledge and product exhibitions helps gather a very large volume of information for the visiting public. Exhibitors strive to improve their products to present increasingly more innovations and technologies to the market. Ultimately, the sector's professionals are the ones who benefit. The information gathered at a trade show would take days and weeks to collect if done individually. An event like this streamlines the process of searching for new products, technologies, and information, allowing companies to save time and, consequently, money., Finish the executive.
