The executive president of the Brazilian Leather, Footwear and Artifacts Technology Institute (IBTeC), Paulo Griebeler, and the CEO of Conforto Artefatos de Couro, Jo\u00e3o Altair dos Santos, signed a contract for the execution of the Model Factory of Security Products<\/em>, at FISP 2022. Cal\u00e7ados Conforto will be the master partner in the project that IBTeC will develop for the International Fair of Safety and Protection.<\/p>\n

In a space of 780 square meters, the Institute will set up a factory that will showcase all the steps of the safety footwear production process during the three days of the fair, from October 18 to 20. To make the project a reality, the manager of IBTeC's Consulting Center, Paulo Model, anticipates the participation of about 50 supplier companies providing machinery, equipment, components, inputs, and management and logistics systems, to produce around 500 pairs of shoes over the three days.<\/p>\n

The CEO of Conforto Artefatos de Couro, Jo\u00e3o Altair dos Santos, states that the company's objective is to present in the project the production of footwear endowed with differentiated technology. The industry's technical team is defining the design and technologies that will be presented.<\/p>\n

With over 30 years of existence, the company is recognized for its commitment to offering design and comfort technologies to the users of its footwear and gloves. Headquartered in the city of Est\u00e2ncia Velha, in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, the industry distinguishes itself by the fact that, since 2007, it has produced its own outsoles to ensure safety, comfort, and quality in its products.<\/p>\n

The CEO highlights the importance of the partnership of over ten years with IBTeC, \u201cwhich has contributed to the development of the brand, both in innovation and in comfort technologies.\u201d.<\/p>\n

IBTec will have its third participation in FISP<\/strong><\/p>\n

Invitation for IBTeC, this will be its third participation in FISP. In 2014, the institution presented a glove factory, in partnership with Luvas Ortner, from Est\u00e2ncia Velha\/RS. In 2018, the Institute presented a safety footwear factory, in partnership with Bompel, from Toledo-PR.<\/p>\n

Now, upon returning to the trade show after three years, \u201cwe are back with a safety footwear factory, in partnership with one of the most respected brands in the Brazilian market,\u201d recalls the executive president of IBTeC, Paulo Griebeler. For the institution, \u201cparticipation in FISP is becoming increasingly important, because today the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) sector accounts for a very significant portion of the institution's daily operations.\u201d IBTeC's proposal in setting up the Model Factory at FISP, according to Griebeler, \u201cis to showcase the strength of this sector and present all the relevant services that our institution offers to PPE manufacturers in general.\u201d The manager also recalls that \u201cIBTeC is a benchmark in meeting the demands of the occupational health and safety sector, and our participation in the trade show is a way to demonstrate our expertise.\u201d.<\/p>\n

IBTeC serves the segment in areas such as certification with the Ministry of Labor, quality testing, consulting for product development from conception to the search for technologies that add value to products, in addition to comfort testing that raises the level of service for safety footwear users.<\/p>\n
