Specialized in measuring equipment, the Instrutherm launches innovative acoustic calibrator model CAL-5000 with LCD display. This will be one of the new products the brand will present at FISP | International Fair of Safety and Protection, from October 5 to 7, 2016, at the São Paulo Expo, in São Paulo.
The portable acoustic calibrator features an integrated solid-state circuit with optimal performance, accuracy, and stability. It is suitable for use in the field, laboratory, and for microphone sensitivity calibration to ensure the accuracy of equipment and the results of tests performed.
The CAL-5000 measures sound pressure levels from 94 to 114 dB; offers an accuracy of ±0.4 dB; has a frequency range of 000 Hz ±0.01%; and complies with IEC 60942 Class 1 standards. It calibrates 1½-inch microphones and operates within a temperature range of -10 to 50°C, with a storage temperature range of -40 to 65°C, and an altitude effect of approximately 0.1 dB.
