São Paulo, October 2018Between October 3 and 5, theOPUS Institute of Professional Trainingof the Brazilian Association for Construction and Mining Technology (Sobratema) will be present at Fisp – International Fair of Safety and Protection, which takes place at São Paulo Expo, simultaneously with Fire Show – International Fire Fair.
At their booth (No. 788), the more than 50,000 visitors expected by the organization for the two trade fairs will be able to learn about training and qualification courses for professionals working in the construction and mining equipment sectors. Among the courses provided by the OPUS Institute for Professional Training are: Rigger Training, Rigging Supervisor, Asset Management, Aggregates for Civil Construction, Signalman/Rigger, and Equipment Operator.
According to Renato Grampa, director of OPUS, the participation of professionals in qualification courses contributes greatly to an increase in worker safety and health in all sectors, especially in civil construction. “An employee with more knowledge and a broader view of their role and the entire operation has more resources to prevent accidents and to avoid carrying out actions that are inappropriate in various situations.”.
In its 22nd edition, Fisp brings together nursing professionals, occupational physicians, psychologists, speech therapists, occupational safety engineers and technicians, risk inspectors, asset security personnel, internal accident prevention committee (CIPA) members, firefighters, managers, directors, and buyers, among others.
Fisp is organized and promoted by Cipa Fiera Milano in partnership with Abraseg – Brazilian Association of Distributors and Importers of Occupational Safety and Protection Equipment and Products, Animaseg – National Association of the Occupational Safety and Protection Equipment Industry, and Sindiseg – Union of the Safety Material Industry. Alongside Fire Show – International Fire Fair, it is expected to bring together around 700 exhibiting companies that will showcase the most modern developments in the field of worker and public safety and protection, with an audience of 40,000 professionals.
