Company will present to the main players in the safety and protection market various types of footwear, as well as composite outsoles, indicated for different sectors
São Paulo, October 2018Marluvas will launch a total of six lines of foot protection in theFISP – International Safety and Protection Fair, which takes place from October 3 to 5 at São Paulo Expo. Including leather footwear, microfiber, with different toe cap options, combat boots for the oil & gas industry, composite footwear with a TPU insert, models made for agribusiness, pieces with a refined design, among other options. All new products feature a dual-density PU sole.
The Vertente line was developed to include the B19 and B19 GI models, as well as the 100% leather style, featuring a modern and ergonomic design. It provides significantly greater durability and everyday comfort for workers’ feet and is available with either a plastic toe cap or a steel toe cap. The new Offshore work boot was designed for jobs in the oil and gas industry, offering maximum protection against the typical hazards of these activities. The product fits comfortably on the feet and features a zipper on the inner side, as well as an overlapping lace closure with Velcro; it is made with Marluvas’ MMicro microfiber, which is resistant to various types of chemicals. It is lined with a waterproof membrane and features a composite toe cap, a puncture-resistant insole, and a sole with TPU Plate technology tested to the SRC standard for use on slippery surfaces.
The new sole of the Composite line is also a highlight and high-performance feature of the brand, being lighter and more resistant, recommended for various sectors. The design is modern and robust, featuring special “grippins” for better grip, electrical and mechanical protection, as well as preventing hydroplaning, thereby avoiding accidents. In the case of the Agriwork line, as the name suggests, it was created especially for use in agribusiness and is available in 10 versions. It features variations in nubuck leather uppers and latigo leather, which is resistant to oils, with an elastic closure and a Super Comfort hygienic insole. One of the main differentials is the Slim sole, more refined, tested to FO standards for hydrocarbon and SRC resistance. Lug-type soles are one of the biggest complaints in the market due to the accumulation of dirt and getting caught in stirrups, a factor that was taken into consideration when manufacturing the product.
Meanwhile, the shoes from the London Safe line stand out for their style. Made of high-quality leather with a refined design, they feature a special insole and are available in three models and two colors: Traditional, Police, and Formal versions, in black or brown leather. And the Premier and Premier Plus lines now feature a version with a composite toe cap and puncture-resistant insole, while the dual-density PU outsole is directly injected onto the upper with an anti-torsion TPU system to provide greater ankle support, ensuring stability on uneven terrain.
