With one more pavilion than in the last edition, simultaneous events are expected to host more than 50 million visitors until Thursday (24) at São Paulo Expo
São Paulo, October 2024 – FISP – 24th International Safety and Protection Trade Fair and Fire Show – 15th International Fire Fair start on Tuesday (22) at 1 PM. The simultaneous events will be held for three consecutive days, always at the same time, at the São Paulo Expo, and will showcase the main innovations in the occupational safety and fire prevention and protection sectors.
The fairs are organized by Fiera Milano Brasil, in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Distributors and Importers of Occupational Safety and Protection Equipment and Products (Abraseg), the National Association of the Occupational Safety and Protection Equipment Industry (Animaseg), the Union of the Safety Material Industry (Sindiseg), and Abiex (Brazilian Association of Firefighting Equipment and High-Pressure Cylinder Industries).
The event has expanded in size and now occupies five pavilions—one more than in the previous edition—and has seen a 20% increase in the number of exhibitors, reaching 700 exhibiting brands.
A opening ceremony is scheduled for 12:00 PM this Tuesday (22), at the entrance of Pavilion 4 at the São Paulo Expo. The organizers expect more than 50,000 people—who will have access to a free shuttle service from the Santos-Imigrantes subway station—to visit the trade shows. At the last event, 80% of the attendees were decision-makers or had influence over purchasing decisions. The visitor registration It is open for free.
For the first time, the Technology and Innovation Space will be held, an area near the entrance to highlight the sector's most innovative products and services. The curation is by ANIMASEG. The entity is also organizing the Technology and Innovation Space – Lectures, which aims to discuss and outline a broad overview of innovations and standards surrounding ABNT-CB032 – Brazilian Committee for PPE.
A 25th edition of COBRASEMT - The Brazilian Congress of Occupational Safety and Medicine will bring together the country's leading prevention entities: ABERGO, ABHO, ABRAPHISET, ABRASEG, ABRATEST, ABRESST, AISOHMEX-BR, ANAMT, ANATEST, ANDEST, ANEST, ANIMASEG, FENATEST, IBAPE, and OBESST. COBRASEMT held its first editions back in the 1970s, and the mere resumption of its event with all these entities is already a demonstration of the sector's unity.
Also through ANIMASEG, via the Brazilian Safety project, a strategic alliance with ApexBrasil, there will be a Business Roundtable that will bring 10 international buyers to the table with Brazilian PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and CPE (Collective Protection Equipment) manufacturers. The initiative will foster more than 300 meetings during the three-day event.
Another highlight this year is the Selo ConsultaCA.com awards, aimed at companies committed to PPE consumers, which will be held at the event. Promoted by SafetyTec's digital platform, the award recognizes manufacturers and importers that offer the best customer service and encourages good practices in the sector.
And in a 700-square-meter area of Fisp, the public will see, in real time, details of footwear production at the Model Safety Factory, a project conceived by IBTeC (Brazilian Institute of Leather, Footwear and Artifacts Technology) in partnership with the company Marluvas, Professional Equipment. Meanwhile, SENAI-SP will bring one of its Mobile Schools for an immersive demonstration of its cutting-edge technology and innovation in the occupational safety sector.
