Undoubtedly, professional trade shows continue to be the greatest marketing tool for business, content, networking, technology, and innovation in the market.”

“It is not I who am speaking, but the exhibitors. This was the best Fisp of all time. So much so that many associated companies that did not participate for various reasons are regretful and want to exhibit two years from now. I speak not only for the size of the event, but for the quality of the visitors who have a focus and great interest in the products on display. And it is not just Brazilians, but many people who came from other countries in search of the novelties presented at the fair,” stated Raul Casanova, executive director of Animaseg and then Abraseg, an entity that represents occupational safety and protection distributors and importers in Brazil.

Waldyr Perez, executive director of Sindiseg – Union of the Safety Equipment Industry, understands that the trade fair has renewed itself. “Fisp, after four years, returns invigorated with a very massive presence of professionals from our segment. We at Sindiseg have nothing but praise for Fiera Milano regarding the event. We are very happy with the profile of the public that visited the fair. I would also like to highlight the partnership that the union made with Senai, which presented its courses and its work during the fair. A partnership that was made possible because we are part of Fiesp.”

Senabom is held for the first time during Fire Show

In its 20th edition, the Senabom was carried out for the first time during the 14th Fire Show. The event was promoted by CBMESP – Military Fire Department of the State of São Paulo, which organized lectures, panels, and workshops to update more than 3,450 professionals from all regions of the country, such as the corporations from Mato Grosso, Pará, Bahia, Espírito Santo, and Paraná. In all, there were 54 hours of lectures and workshops.

The contents were taught by firefighters, specialists, and researchers from various fields of knowledge. Among the topics debated during the three-day event were “Humanized technical approaches in suicide attempt incidents,” “Public safety diving,” “Urban hydrant management,” and “Research and innovation in vehicle extrication,” in addition to update workshops on technical standards.

Senabom also received the Steel Firefighter Competition, which brought together the best corporate athletes from all states of the national territory to compete in events with varying levels of difficulty. Meanwhile, the Operational Response Championship, organized by Fundabom – Fire Department Support Foundation, took place for the first time during the seminar. The tournament awarded teams that completed operational procedures and tactical maneuvers with the shortest time and the fewest possible penalties.

Safe House and model safety factory were highlighted

Aiming to raise awareness among the general public, CBMESP – Military Fire Department of the State of São Paulo set up an interactive public education space at 14th Fire Show. The goal was to spread the culture of accident prevention. One of the highlights was the Safe House, a life-sized model of three rooms – living room, bedroom, and kitchen – which showed, through educational messages, the risks that may exist within the home environment.

The action also included the display of three vehicle models and the presence of dogs that help the officers during incidents. In addition, thanks to the partnership with Orthopedics, a company that operates in First Aid, Rescue, and Emergency (Pre-Hospital Care) education and training, the space featured workshops and interaction with materials that firefighting teams use in rescue practices.

The model safety factory, on the other hand, was one of the attractions of FISP – International Safety and Protection Fair. There, visitors were able to follow the entire manufacturing process of a high-performance safety boot and sneaker. The attraction was an initiative of IBTeC – Brazilian Institute of Technology for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts in partnership with the brand Comfort.

“This is our third time participating in Fisp, and we have noticed that the sector has evolved a lot from the perspective of market, product, innovation, and technology. The safety market in Brazil has the potential to grow much more. With the model factory, we hope to contribute to the creation of innovations for the occupational health and safety sector,” stated Paulo Griebeler, executive president of IBTeC.

Business round promotes contact between firefighters and companies

Among the attractions of 20th Senabom – National Firefighter Seminar, the business rounds were one of the highlights. On that occasion, equipment and clothing manufacturers were able to present their products to officials responsible for drafting bids for the Fire Department from all over the country. Nine companies and forty officers participated.

Second Lieutenant Amanda, coordinator of the rounds, states that the interaction was a success, even though it was not yet possible to close deals, since all corporate purchases are made via bidding. “The companies came with innovations, some with applications that are already used abroad. We had a lot of new technologies. This is important for us.”
